The Menucha Dulcimer Festival is held every April at the Menucha Retreat in Corbett, Oregon. Each year, they feature three nationally known instructors who teach workshops on a variety of topics, from fingerpicking to jazz. For more information, please visit their website. Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas is held at Wallowa Lake Camp during the Fourth of July week each year. Each year, they feature four nationally known instructors who teach weeklong workshops tailored to your skill level (beginner, advancing beginner, intermediate, and advanced), plus fun afternoon electives on topics ranging from waltzes and fingerpicking to West Virginia Fiddle Tunes. Current and past instructors have included Rob Brereton, Steve Eulberg, Dave Haas, Karen Mueller, Heidi Muller, Aaron O'Rourke, Stephen Seifert, Susan Trump, David Vallelunga, Carol Walker, and Bob Webb.
The Wallowa Fall Dulcimer and Ukulele Retreat is held at Wallowa Lake Camp in September or October, when the weather is just cool enough for a roaring fire in the lodge fireplace. Instructors have included Heidi Muller, Debbie Porter, and Bob Webb.
